4 Steps to Making a Wood-Fire Pizzas
Our Wood-fire Pizzas are made fresh daily using the best local ingredients, directly on the stone floor of our wood fired oven, producing a hint of smokiness.
First, we make and roll our own dough, add tasty tomato sauce base, put the required ingredients on top with generous amounts of cheese. Then we put the pizza into our large Wood-fire oven, where it cooks evenly and gets a nice crispy crust.
1. Make the pizza dough
Although the toppings can sometimes define the pizza taste, it’s the dough that has become most important. We take extra care when preparing our hand-stretched dough daily, using traditional Italian methods. As any pizza chef can tell you: every great pizza begins with a great crust.
2. Generous amount of tomato sauce
Of course, what’s a good pizza without a great tasting sauce on the base?
Our tomato sauce is also a very important part of the process, we do make our own sauce which has been described to taste home-made and bursting with flavor. We generously cover the base with it and go to the next step.
3. Fresh Toppings
Fresh and local ingredients are used to make our mouth-watering pizza toppings and it’s no secret –
there is nothing better than some fresh garlic prawns on your pizza, juicy grilled saffron chicken or colorful greens, ripe tomatoes and generous amount of our special four cheese to top it off.
4. Wood fire Oven
All our pizzas are cooked in Wood-fire oven.
This traditional cooking method eliminates the need for excess oils and ensures that your wood-fired pizza has an extra crunch factor, with a light fluffy interior and all the toppings are heated evenly and melt in your mouth.
